Designed with a powerful processor, these systems provide high performance storage for the most rugged conditions. The 5000 Series are NEBS Level 3 and MIL SPEC 810f certified for military and telecommunications projects.

The 5730 performance-optimized storage array is designed to meet the needs of customers who require the highest levels of SAN performance in the most demanding environments such as military organizations and telecommunications equipment providers. The 5730 boasts measured performance of an amazing 375,000 IOPS (same sector cache) and provides more than 1.6Gb/second read and 1.3Gb/second write throughput, driving application performance to new levels.
To ensure that the 5730 performs under rugged conditions, the 5730 has been tested to meet the NEBS Level 3 telecommunications standard, and military’s MIL SPEC 810F standards for land, sea and air deployment. The 5730 is ideal for building SANs that may need to perform in mobile situations, with the option to deploy solid state disks (SSDs).

Warranty
The hardware warranty (Bronze) on Dot Hill arrays is 37 months. The software warranty is 90 days. Gold and Platinum support is also available.

- SAS, SATA and SSD drives can be mixed in 5000 Seris arrays.
