Senior Hardware Engineer

Key Job Responsibilities
Design, Debug, Intel/AMD CPU, FC, SAS/SATA and SCSI, PCI, PCI-X, PCI-Express
Qualifications
- Intel/AMD processor design experience
- Strong debug skills from component level to system level
- Digital and analog high speed hardware design experience
- Design experience in interface standards including PCI/PCIX, PCI Express, DDR/SDRAM memory, FC, SAS/SATA.
- Knowledge of storage systems and standards including FC, SAS/SATA and iSCSI
- programmable logic design experience
- Hands on use of Mentor Design Tools.
- Experience in Verilog HDL, C and assembly language preferred
- This position requires the ability to work well in the lab, with others as well as handle research, design and especially debug of complex system designs.
- Must have developed storage system products incorporating Fibre Channel, SCSI, and RAID technologies and have a deep understanding of these technologies. .
- In-depth understanding of storage hardware mandatory.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Technical reports and presentations of test results required.
Education
- BSEE or equivalent required; MSEE or more advanced degrees desired
- 6 – 8 years experience
